Ancre histoire

Today
Annabelle and Olivier Coppée are fourth-generation winemakers. They have decided to continue selling Feneuil Coppée champagne, created by their parents.
The siblings have divided up the work according to their respective skills. Annabelle is primarily responsible for marketing and Olivier for managing the vineyard.
Origins
Before 1950, the family cultivated the vineyards and sold their grapes to the major Champagne houses. Champagne production only began in the 1950s, thanks to the creation of the cooperative in 1953. We have a special attachment to the cooperative because our great-grandfather, Désiré Hima, was its founding president.

Vineyard
Feneuil Coppée cultivates 8 hectares of vines in the terroir of Chamery, a Premier Cru village located between Reims and Epernay in the heart of the Montagne de Reims.
Our vineyard is made up of 35% Chardonnay , 30% Pinot Noir and 35% Meunier . Our choice of blends is therefore quite vast.
Vine cultivation
We have a deep respect for this land that has sustained our family for generations. It is important to take care of it for future generations.
This is why our Estate has been certified High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture since 2020 .

Wine making
We decided to carry out the pressing and vinification at the Chamery cooperative in order to benefit from modern facilities that guarantee a consistent quality of our wines . The blends of our vintages are chosen by us and the bottles are stored in our cellar for a period of more than 2 years. The bottles are marketed after a minimum of 3 months of disgorging.
